Choosing your eyewear is more than just about vision; it's about making a statement about who you are.

Contact lenses are a convenient alternative to glasses, offering visual clarity and ultimate comfort!

We offer a special contact lens exam where we measure your eye's curvature to help us fit you with the most comfortable contact lenses for your eye shape and lifestyle needs.

If you have never used contact lenses before, we will gladly teach you how to use them and insert them in your eye. Once you've done it a few times, it will become second nature.

3 Things That Make Through the Hayes Optometry Eye Doctor's Unique

Ensuring crisp and clear vision is only one part of first-rate eye care. Our eye care professionals also focus on the long-term health of your eyes and vision.

Your eye doctor will dilate your eye to examine the optic nerve for signs of glaucoma and will also measure the intraocular pressure (IOP) with an instrument called a tonometer.

If you're ready for an alternative to glasses and/or contacts look to us for co-management of LASIK, cataract, and other ocular surgery at our San Francisco location.

I have always found their staff very professional and helpful!

While living in San Francisco, I was a very satisfied customer of Through the Hayes for over 10 years. The Optometrists are outstanding, and I was particularly impressed by Dr. Langille. My prescriptions have always been spot on, and I've appreciated the information she has provided on evaluating my eye health over time. In addition, I have always found their staff very professional and helpful, and I liked the very good selection of frames available. I've recently moved out of the Bay Area, but I decided to purchase a new set of prescription eyeglasses remotely from Through the Hayes. The staff (thanks, Erwin!) did some great research for me to confirm that the frames that I was interested in would work for me, and they went above and beyond to work with me to place the order and ship the eyeglasses out to me. Fantastic work from an excellent team. Thanks Through the Hayes!
