Where eyewear Becomes art...
|
 |
Just as eyewear can become art on your face, we believe that eyewear is flattering, or becoming, to art
itself. In Hayes Valley, art is found in every aspect of life; most of our patients are artistic, either in
profession or by avocation. We strive to promote that spirit by decorating our walls with creations by local artists.

GYOTAKU,(GYO=FISH,TAKU=IMPRINT
BY HAND)BY CHERRY SWEIG
“Developed in the early 1800’s, the Samurai fishermen
used Gyotaku as a way to record the exact shape and size of a prize catch before the invention of the camera. Like so many
things oriental, Gyotaku evolved into a highly prized art form.”
